Pinto Bean

The Pinto Bean is painted. Its skin is a landscape of streaks and speckles — browns and pinks and creams in a pattern unique to each Bean. When you cook it, the markings fade: the vivid exterior dissolves into the pot, the speckles blur, and what remains is a uniformly russet bean. But the broth carries every colour that was on the surface. Those born under the Pinto Bean wear their stories the same way.

Pinto Beans are expressive souls. They wear their complexities openly — in the way they dress, the way they talk, the projects they pursue. They are drawn to creative work because it lets them turn the swirling interior landscape into something others can touch.
